Beverley Parker joined the Audit Commission in November 2001.  Before joining the Inspection Service she was Director of Policy and Resources for the West Midlands Arts Board.  Prior to that she held senior management posts in four different local authorities spanning leisure, arts, tourism and museums.  Since joining the AC she has undertaken a variety of inspections including economic development and tourism, social inclusion, and customer services and information as well as leading numerous cultural inspections and District CPA inspections.  She is the Regional Service Lead for Culture for the Central region and is involved in supporting AC specialists in undertaking cultural services inspections as well as ensuring consistency in the Commission’s work.  For the past year Bev has also taken on a management role within the Nottinghamshire area.  Bev has been CRB cleared.
