Christmas Meal 2008
Leicester Tigers visit primary school
Some yuletide cheer was spread at Braunstone Community Primary School as Leicester Tigers player Mark Deaville joined the children and staff for their Christmas dinner.
Mark was accompanied by Leicester, the tigers’ mascot and together they helped serve the Christmas meal to the children.
A typical Christmas menu of roast turkey, (or vegetarian alternative) stuffing, chipolata sausage, roast and creamed potatoes with a choice of vegetables will be served within the last week of term. The pudding selection includes Christmas pudding, or mince pie or jelly and cream.
City Catering also offer themed menus to celebrate a wide range of festivals including the Chinese New Year, Diwali and Eid.
