Psychology Service

The service provides specialist support and assistance to schools, works closely in partnership with parents, teachers, children and others organisations providing services to children/young people (aged 0-19 years) within the local Authority and Health Service. Contact them on 0116 221 1200.
 
The following information will introduce you to the City Council's Psychology Service based at Collegiate House in the City Centre.
 
Educational psychologists have a broad specialist knowledge of children and of the application of Psychology throughout education. They are specially trained to advise, assess and consult on the needs of children and about ways of helping them.
 
Bilingual teacher consultants ensure access and assessment for bilingual pupils and families in the major city community languages: Gujarati, Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi and Kutchi across the city.
