Leicester’s parents were called upon to rewind the trend of DVDs at bedtime and get the pages of their favourite storybooks turning.

 

Leicester’s budding storytellers were invited to come on down with their favourite bedtime reads, and give it their best shot at storytelling in front of the camera to join our search for star storytellers. All entries were uploaded to www.yearofreading.org.uk and the clips watched by an expert judging panel, with the regional and national winners having a chance to bag fantastic prizes.

 

Those who couldn't make it on 8^th October were invited to upload a clip of themselves reading their favourite story to: www.yearofreading.org.uk and join the competition online. Ten regional winners will receive a library of family books, and the national winner will get their hands on a family ticket to the Première of family film Bedtime Reads starring Adam Sandler and Russell Brand which will be released by Buena Vista.
