The Traded Service
Since April 2007, the Local Authority has offered support for governors on a 'traded service' basis and, to benefit from the full range of training and advice available, schools are required to subscribe annually.
Services provided free of charge include:
- General advice and guidance on governor recruitment
- General advice and guidance on constitutional issues
- General advice and guidance on statutory responsibilities

- Termly newsletter
- Copies of guides, booklets and other documents
- Access to all resources on this website
- Unlimited access to the core training programme for governors
