Leicester City Council is committed to offering all Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT’s) a comprehensive and supportive induction programme.
For NQT’s, induction is the process which supports their transition from Initial teacher training into the teaching profession. It is the first step in the continuum of a teacher’s professional development and, as such, represents perhaps the most vital stage at the start of what we hope will be a successful and rewarding career.
You should keep an eye on the school vacancies, which are advertised on this web site. Posts are also advertised in the local press (Leicester Mercury) on a Wednesday, and in the Times Educational Supplement (TES) on a Friday.
