Welcome to the Youth Service’s Training Information page where you can find information on training opportunities for Leicester City Council youth workers and our voluntary sector partners. Here you will find information about our NVQ 3 training programme in Youth Work together with information about a range of short courses concerning general youth work practice issues. Our objectives are:
- To offer learning opportunities that are relevant to our work with young people.
- To ensure that all qualifications included are recognised by national youth work organisations.
- To work alongside our partners in the voluntary sector in ensuring that their staff also have access to LCC training, assessment and qualification opportunities.
- To enable individuals to fulfil their ambitions.
