These pages have been created for young people (11 to 16 year olds) living and studying in Leicester. They highlight council information and services we think you might find useful.
The pages are a work in progress, and over the next few months we'll be developing these further to illustrate what Leicester City Council and our partners are doing for young people in the city.

Children's and Young People's Plan - we and our partners are developing a strategy to improve those services that will help children and young people in the city. You can contribute to this process by sending us your views on what the council should do for young people.
Education & Lifelong Learning - the council's Education and Lifelong Learning services teams are responsible for educating the city's residents - young and old. This section also includes links to homework help and
activities.
Libraries - our libraries offer up many services. You can borrow books, cds, dvds, surf the Internet and much more.
Local Democracy - this section shows how democracy works within Leicester. Our MPs, the role city councillors play and who they are, and how you can contact them.
