Pleaded guilty to 7 charges under regulation 17(1) of the Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2006:
Failure to register the food business establishment with Leicester City Council.
Failure to deny access by pests into the food business establishment.
Failure to have adequate procedures in place to control pests.
Failure to protect food from risk of contamination due to the presence of rats and mice and absence of hot water.
Failure to keep the establishment clean and in particular the toilet facilities.
Failure to provide adequate facilities for the cleaning and disinfecting of working utensils and equipment.
Failure to provide wash basins in the milling and packing area and failure to provide hot water and cleaning and drying facilities at the wash basins in the staff toilet facilities.
Fine: £700, plus £1,000 towards Leicester City Council’s costs
