Professional Trainer Certificate

Leicester City Council is a registered centre for the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health’s Professional Trainers Certificate.

The course is intended for suitably qualified people who wish to train others on the CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety . It is however a generic training qualification equipping you with the knowledge of identifying training needs, designing and producing a training session and delivering the session to a group of people. It is run over 3 days and involves course members carrying out a training session which should last at least 20 minutes. This is observed and assessed by the course tutors along with work carried out during the training course.
