You can view Leicester City Council's Planning Database on-line. This contains over 118,000 planning application records since 1948. You can also view records of Planning Appeals and Enforcement Notices authorised. The Planning Applications Database gives access to our on-line library of Decision Notices.

 

You can search each database by Reference Number, Address, Proposal keyword, and various other fields. You can query the system for a range of dates received and determined or resolved. Each of the Search Screens includes HELP in entering the fields. Click the HELP icon next to each field name.

The Database is updated at regular intervals, usually daily. You can therefore monitor progress of individual applications or appeals. To establish the current status of any live case, or for additional information on any case, you can also contact Planning.

 

 

You can now view planning applications using the Council's CityStreAtZ mapping system. This allows you to search for an address using the maps, and then link to the Planning Database to view applications etc.
