Leicester Shire Economic Partnership

The Leicester Shire Economic Partnership (LSEP) was set up in September 2002 as a result of East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA) making a strategic decision to delegate decisions and funding to Sub-regional Strategic Partnerships (SSP's). The LSEP is one of the Sub-regional Strategic Partnerships that has been established to co-ordinate strategy programmes at a regional level.

The LSEP are responsible for improving economic prosperity for all communities in their Sub-region, including Leicester and Leicestershire. In order to achieve this they have produced a strategy that sets out their vision and priorities between 2003-2012.
