This is an exciting development and with the other developments happening in the area, this facility will help to transform a deprived part of the city over time into a diverse and thriving new place.
The DMC will be a creative hub for new technology in the areas of film, entertainment, art, enterprise, research and education. It will build on the success of Phoenix Arts as well as being supported by De Montfort University's strong research and academic provision in the creative industries.
Furthermore, through the development of the DMC, this will also aid the development of creative industries within Leicester and the development of residential units.
