Green Life Awards 2007

Around 100 guests attended the Leicester Environment Partnership event on Tuesday 20th March which included The 2007 Green Life Awards and a challenging talk on large-scale wind turbines for urban areas.

David Nicholls, Chair of the Leicester Environment Partnership said: “The quality of applications this year was the highest yet.  It was inspiring to read about the dedication and commitment shown by the people of Leicester to reducing their impact on the environment.  We hope the awards encourage more people to take action.”

Applications were categorised into Best Environmental Contribution by a Business, a School, a Community Group or Individual and by a Not for Profit organisation.
