Homelessness Strategy Programme

The purpose of this programme is to enable Local Authorities to implement their Homelessness strategies in accordance with clearly identified positive outcomes on homelessness.

The allocation that Leicester City Council receives is based on an appraisal of a self-assessment of its achievements in previous years.

The programme is instrumental in seeking to address and resolve homelessness issues in the city.  Projects that are new and innovative in their approach have been positively encouraged.  In addition, those schemes that have already secured additional funding or are actively seekling such are likely to be considered more favourably.
