- Top government rating for four years.

- Two star award from Audit Commission Inspection of homelessness service.

- Three star award from Audit Commission Inspection of repairs and maintenance.

- Beacon Status for Tackling Homelessness.

- Beacon Status for Housing Renewal.

- Two star award from Audit Commission Inspection of housing management services.

 

Since the introduction of its Home Energy Strategy, Leicester City Council has hugely reduced its domestic energy consumption and saved more than £4 million in energy costs. The associated CO2 reduction targets, that Leicester has already achieved, has involved more than 65,000 households.
