Tenant Participation

Housing is about much more than bricks and mortar - it's also about getting tenants involved in the places they live and the services they receive from the Adults and Housing department.

It is very important that tenants give their views on services and how they might be improved. There are a number of different ways that tenants and leaseholders might want to do this.

Some people might want to belong to a formal group such as a Tenants & Residents Association. Other people might want to send comments or articles to a newsletter. There are over twenty different ways that you can be involved and we want to hear from you if you have other suggestions.

If your area does not have a TARA, we can also provide you with advice and guidance on how set one up. See our section on Tenants Associations for further information.

Alternatively, view the Tenant and Resident Involvement area of the website for further information on how you can get involved
