Types of properties
Leicester City Council currently lets, manages and maintains approx 23,500 homes across 40 different areas of the City. These include bedsits; one bedroom bungalows and flats; two bedroom bungalows, flats, maisonettes and houses; three bedroom bungalows, flats, maisonettes and houses; and four, five and six bedroom houses.
Leicester City Council also operates 15 sheltered housing schemes for older and disabled people.
All properties are offered to applicants on a ‘points’ basis.
