Homelessness guide

If you have nowhere to stay tonight you should visit the Housing Options Centre at Phoenix House in Welford Place before 4.00pm on the day you realise you have nowhere to stay.
If you have somewhere to stay tonight but think you may be homeless or about to become homeless within the next month, visit the Housing Options Centre or call (0116) 252 8707 to arrange an appointment.
If you have nowhere to stay at weekends or outside of office hours, call (0116) 255 5152 (single people) or (0116) 221 1407 (families).
Only certain people can be given help under current homelessness rules. This means that you may be homeless but still not eligible for rehousing by the Council. If this is the case, we will still provide you with advice and information.
