Single Status Agreement and the new Pay and Grading Structure

Leicester City Council is working towards implementing a new job evaluation scheme and a revised pay and grading structure in order to achieve a new harmonised pay structure.  The result of this will be a Single Status Agreement.

How it affects new employees
 
This is a significant piece of work, which the authority is undertaking.
 
At the point of Single Status implementation some posts may see a change in pay, this may be an increase or this may be a decrease.  In all our recruitment we will be as open and honest as we can about the new salary for the post.  As an applicant for a post within the Council please be assured that every effort will be made to ensure you have up to date information available on anticipated pay and grades.  This will be discussed with everyone who attends a recruitment interview.
