The Cultural Strategy Partnership (CSP)

The Cultural Strategy Partnership for Leicester has a membership of 50 partners bringing together diverse organisations from the public, private, community of interest, voluntary and education sectors.  To view a list of all organisations that make up the CSP, please see the document at the bottom of this page.

The CSP is chaired by Nasseh Bellamy (Leicester United Caribbean Association) and vice-chaired by Geoff Rowe, Director of Leicester Comedy Festival.  The CSP has an elected Executive Board made up of 15 members with equal representation for each of the sectors mentioned above.  To view the list of Executive Board Members, please see the document at the bottom of this page.

The CSP is the driving force behind the Strategy and the delivery mechanism for it.  The overarching aim of the Strategy and the CSP is to promote, develop and sustain cultural activity so that the cultural sector can fully develop its contribution to - amongst other things, personal wellbeing of individuals in the City, neighbourhoods and the City Centre.

The City Council supports and facilitates the Cultural Strategy Partnership (CSP) through the work of the Cultural Strategy and Improvement Team.  Together the Cultural Strategy Partnership and the Cultural Strategy and Improvement Team aim to give Culture and Cultural activity a platform and one voice in the City.
