One Leicester Open 20 Exhibition : Youth Category

In a bid to discover young talent and fashion a collection of lively, fresh and contemporary artwork, 'The Outreach Team' presents the One Leicester Open 20 Exhibition Youth Category.
Young artist between 12-17 years, living in Leicester can enter one piece of artwork into the One Leicester Open 20 Exhibition for free! This can be a piece of print, photography, a short film (up to 5 minutes long), a painting, ceramics or glassware. Artists will have the opportunity to win first the prize of £100, donated by The Outreach Team or several other prizes up for grabs !
What’s more all young artists who enter will get the chance to exhibit their artwork at The City Gallery Youth Works Exhibition on the 23rd December.
How to Enter

Step 1
Email a maximum of two photos of the piece of artwork you would like to enter to youth.panel.cg@leicester.gov.uk with the Youth Category application form, which can be found at the bottom of this page.
Entries must be received by Sunday 25th October 5.00 pm. For details on terms and conditions of entry please read the information provided in the application form.

You can also bring your work to The City Gallery and have a photo of your work taken between 2.00 - 5.00 pm on Sunday 25th October.
Step 2
You will be told if you work has been selected for the exhibition by Wednesday 5 November.
If your work is chosen for the exhibition you will be asked to bring your work into The City Galley on the 8 November for the One Leicester Open 20 Exhibition.
Step 3
If your work has not been selected you will also have the opportunity to exhibit you work at the Youth Works Exhibition on the 23rd December.
To enter your work in the Youth Works Exhibition you will need to bring your artwork into the City Gallery on Sunday 21 December 2.00 pm- 6.00 pm.
