Weekend Workshops with Alison Willoughby and Donna Wilson

Indulge in a weekend of creative workshops to celebrate the gallery’s 20th year.
We have invited back one of our most popular artists Alison Willoughby with her wearable pieces of art, author of ‘49 Sensational Skirts’ and ‘49 and a half skirts’, which detail her lavish embellishment of garments and manipulation of fabrics. We also have a workshop with Donna Wilson, well known for her knitted creatures and knitted cakes her work has also developed into furnishings, greeting cards, calendars, notebooks and much more with international distribution.
Fabric Manipulation with Alison Willough by MA RCA

You will be shown a variety of techniques to produce manipulated fabric samples. Use these to embellish garments, as wall pieces or stitch them together to make an intense fabric sample. www.alisonwilloughby.com
