Kahani Sapnon Ki – Our Dream Story
Kahani Sapnon Ki – Our Dream Story
30 June – 4 July 2009
Curve

Hathi’s new musical explores India’s contribution to the allied victory in World War II. Set in India in the early 1940’s, Kahani Sapnon Ki is an awe-inspiring chapter in India’s freedom struggle as three young people strive to make their dreams come true.  When Parvati and Pushpa arrive at a rundown school in Kharagpur owned by a fading Hollywood star, they come with dreams of storytelling and dance. At the school, they meet Mr Fix It, Pavan who yearns to fly. Unaware at first of the approaching storm, reality strikes when Singapore falls and the Japanese threaten Eastern India.  “We are here to be part of History, not just history”.
