Speaker: Mary Greensted, author and curator of the ‘Craft and Design: Ernest Gimson & the Arts & Crafts Movement’ exhibition. Gimson was one of the most inspiring designers of the British Arts & Crafts Movement.  A contemporary of C. F. A. Voysey and Charles Rennie Mackintosh, his work continues to influence contemporary designers and furniture makers today. This lecture will introduce Gimson’s work and look at aspects of his legacy. £2.00
