LEARNING WITH LEICESTER'S ARTS & MUSEUMS
Leicester City Arts and Museums Service includes six museums, The City Gallery, Fosse Arts Centre and De Montfort Hall. At our sites and in the classroom, we offer a varied menu of learning resources that support the curriculum across key stages.
This includes:
- Active Learning Sessions (Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2)
- Teacher-led resources
- Opportunities for after school / lunchtime clubs
- Weekend and holiday activities
- Handling boxes (Romans, Victorians, Tudors and Anglo-Saxons)
Whatever the topic, we’ll help to bring it to life - dinosaurs, Egyptian mummies, Roman and Saxon objects, Victorian paintings and giant beam engines - you will find all these and more in our museums, along with staff who will help you to plan your visit.
