Beaumont Park

This large open space is situated to the rear of Beaumont Leys Shopping Centre and the Leicester Leys Leisure Centre.   The large grassed areas are suitable for a variety of informal leisure and recreational activities, including a BMX track.  There is a small pond and areas of woodland, parts of which are only accessible by tracks and/or bridleways, which contain a variety of plants and trees, including an ancient coppiced ash tree.

 

There is good access, via local public rights of way network to neighbouring Castle Hill Country Park and Bradgate Park beyond.
