Advocacy is when a person makes sure that someone's voice is heard. This is by speaking up for them or supporting them to speak up for themselves.
Having your views heard
If you are looked after by Leicester City Council and want to make your views heard or to make a complaint about your service you can get support from the National Youth Advocacy Service (NYAS):
