Builders Skip 'Permits'
Builders skips placed on the highway need to be licenced. Licences are issued to skip companies.

Scaffolding, Hoarding & Deposit of Materials:
The Highway Management Team issues licences for the erection of scaffolding, hoarding and deposit of materials on the highway.

Temporary Excavation:
The Highway Management Team also issues licences for temporary excavations in the highway which are not for the purpose of accessing utility equipment.

Licence Application Form:
A Word copy of the Scaffolding, Hoarding, Deposit of Materials or Temporary Excavation Licence Form can be down-loaded (Click on attachment below).
The form can be completed electronically, saved and emailed to us or printed and returned by post or fax.
Please note the conditions that apply to all licences. Additional conditions may apply to some sites and these will be shown on the licence when granted.
