The final stage of the scheme will improve the aesthetic quality of the Belgrave Road street environment and reduce air and noise pollution. The project will also improve bus priority, pedestrian safety, on street parking, public art and new street lighting. In due course it is also hoped that with the better and more frequent operation of buses with low floors, easy access especially for those with disabilities will be readily available.

To complete this project fully will take another few years but the results will favour the commerce, safety, health and environment of the Belgrave Corridor and adjacent areas.
