Leicestershire Constabulary has revised their beats in your area to fall in line with the City Council ward boundaries. This approach will help both organisations work together more effectively to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in your area.

Since October 2009 Leicester City Council has also:

• Appointed existing local council officers as key contacts for each Neighbourhood Policing Team

• Made sure that someone from the council attends every Neighbourhood Policing Public Meeting

• Introduced 19 more City Wardens to patrol the city
