The Gambling Act allows licensing authorities to set their own fees for premises licences, subject to maximum levels that have been specified by central government. We have reviewed our fees, and some will increase on 1 April 2011.
- The relevant fee must be sent with an application, in order for the application to be valid.
- The application fee is not refundable if the application is withdrawn, or if it is unsuccessful
- A First Annual fee is payable within 30 days of the date of licence issue, details regarding this payment will be provided at the time of licence issue.
- An annual fee is payable before the anniversary of the licence being granted (reminder letters will be sent to licence holders)
- Annual fees can be paid by credit card over the telephone (0116 2527000) or via our Online payments service.
