Domestic bulky waste and garden materials can also be taken for free disposal to our Household Waste and Recycling Centres.
All householders in Leicester are entitled to:
Book a bulk collection online or call 0116 252 7002.
When you make your booking we will advise you of a definite day of collection. Your waste should be presented at an accessible point outside of your property by 7am without obstructing the public highway.
If you are unable to move your waste to an accessible point of collection, please advise us when booking and we can arrange for an assisted bulky waste collection.
If you have more than five items to dispose of you will be charged. The charge charge will depend on the number of items collected which will be advised when the request is made. Please note we will only collect up to 30 items.
Restrictions on Materials Collected

Commercial waste is not accepted.

Whole kitchen and bathroom replacements are not accepted.

Vehicle or similar batteries and paints are not collected. These have to taken to our Household Waste and Recycling Centres.

An 'item' of garden material is one which is bundled or bagged and can reasonably be lifted by one person.

Garden waste such as paving slabs, brick rubble, cut down trees (not branch prunings) and soil are not accepted for this service. These have to taken to our Household Waste and Recycling Centres.
