The second round of funding for 2010-11 closed on 25th October 2010. We decided to fund 19 projects in total with the approximately £90,000 available. Almost all the applicants were asked to scale down their projects, and were given less funding than they requested, so that the amount available could be spread more widely. The projects will be delivered between January and June 2011.
We were very encouraged by the interest and enthusiasm that applicants showed and the level of commitment to improving community cohesion in Leicester.
