We dealt with 6886 (69.28%) within 1 day and 9913 (99.73%) within 5 days

There were 4812 bereaved families who made an appointment with us to register a death.

Only 1 family was unable to have an appointment by the end of the next working day.

There were 8649 parents who made an appointment to register the birth of their baby with us.

We were able to offer 5613 (64.9%) parents an appointment within 3 days.

There were 67 parents who made an appointment to register a stillbirth with us.

All of them were able to have an appointment by the end of the next working day.

There were 2770 couples who made appointments with us to give notice of their intention to marry.

We were able to offer 1557 (56.21%) of these an appointment within 5 days.

There were 2039 people who received British citizenship.

We were able to offer all of them a place on a ceremony within 60 days of receiving their notification from the Home Office.

There were 15763 people who attended the office with an appointment.

Due to circumstance 37 people had to wait more than 10 minutes beyond their appointment time.

You said that there are problems with the phone system.

We have made some changes to the system and are working towards the majority of your calls being dealt with by the Customer Services Centre and changing our number to a geographical one.
