This page is only for parents/carers who live in Leicester City but whose children attend Schools outside of the City Boundary.
Leicester City Council’s online admissions system will go live from 12th September 2011 until the closing date of 31st October 2011. After this date you will have to complete a paper application.
If your child currently attends in year 5 of a County Primary School or year 9 of a County High School you will need to apply for School place for September 2012. You can apply online (or using a paper form) and we will co-ordinate with the Local Authority responsible for the school you have requested (e.g Leicestershire County Council) who will make a decision which will then be sent to you by Leicester City School Admissions Service.
For the Voluntary Aided schools, you will also be required to complete the school's own supplementary information form. There is also a supplementary form for The Samworth Enterprise Academy if you live in the priority area and are applying on social or medical grounds.
