The timetable of the transfer process is as follows:
Week commencing 5th September 2011 -
Information packs and application forms distributed to all parents of Year 6 pupils.
If you have not received a transfer pack by the end of September 2011, contact your child’s current school for a form. If they do not have a copy, contact the School Admissions Service on (0116) 252 7009.
12th September 2011 - Online Admissions
Online Admissions System will open for applications for Secondary School Place (24hours a day until 31st October). Apply now for a Year Seven Place for September 2012.
September to October 2011 -
Open events are held at each school. The Admissions Service and Choice Advice Service will attend these events to provide help and guidance.
31st October 2011 - Secondary Applications Deadline
You must return your form or complete your application online by this date.
Applications received after the closing date will be processed as late applications.
1st March 2012 - Allocation day for the on-time applications
April - July 2012 - Admission Appeals
