Bernie Elliott - unit catering manager and Jashu Patel - cultural co-ordinator are pictured with a large pan of chickpea & potato curry that they cooked for school dinner at Forest Lodge primary school on Friday 10th February.
The curry was served with rice, chapatti and salad, pupils were encouraged to try the curry along with the chicken curry that is normally served.
Jashu showed Bernie how to prepare an authentic asian vegetarian curry using fresh spices, the finished curry wasn't too hot and many pupils tried it and liked it - the school staff did too! Well done ladies.
