British Council for School Environments

The British Council for School Environments (BCSE) is a membership organisation made up of schools, local authorities, construction companies, architects, and all those involved in, and passionate about, designing excellent learning environments. http://www.bcse.uk.net

Imagine School Design

Bureau: Design + Research [BDR] is an independent design-led research and consultancy unit. The BDR specialises in school design and has been involved in many facets of the briefing, design and realisation of learning environments. Imagine’ is a database which captures school design best practice from around the world. http://www.imagineschooldesign.org

BREEAM helps schools and further education colleges to set environmental targets for new and refurbished education buildings. It also serves as a useful tool for designers by demonstrating the environmental performance of their design http://www.breeam.org.
