ICT for teachers

The Managed Learning Environment (MLE) brings together all of the data and information you need into one place. Now you don’t have to login to multiple programmes to find out what’s going on with a student.

You can access the MLE from home as well as in school so you can prepare lessons, mark course work or just keep up to date with what is happening in the school wherever you are.

E-registration

E-registration is one of the ways N-able helps you to spend more time teaching and less on administration.  Students use their smartcards to register electronically and all you need to do is a quick check to make sure everyone has registered before you get on with the class.  The MLE will automatically alert administrators or parents when students are absent from class.

Parents Meeting

Collating all the information required for regular parent meetings can take a lot of time – the MLE helps to reduce that time by having all the information in one place – now you can spend your time reviewing the information and preparing for the meeting.  As parents also have access to information such as attendance and attainment they are also prepared for the meeting.

Advanced Reporting and Alerts

Rather than hunting for the information you need, set up an automatic alert. So if you want to be told when certain events have occurred such as a student missing a set number of days in a term click on the alert and choose the year group you are interested in and how you want to be informed.  Reporting can also help you identify potential gifted and talented students.
