Babington Community College is an 11-16 comprehensive school in the Beaumont Leys area of Leicester City. There are currently approximately 700 students on roll but this number is increasing at a steady rate as we admit more students throughout the school year. In June 2010 we became a Co-operative Trust school, our Trust partners being Leicester College of FE, the Local Authority and the Co-operative College.
Babington is very definitely a school ‘on the up’. In August 2011 our examination results were the best in the school’s history. In Spring 2013 we were rated as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.
