Keyham Lodge School

Keyham Lodge opened in April 1997 as a day provision for boys aged 11 – 16, all of whom have statements for emotional and behavioural difficulties. Many of the students also have additional special needs such as moderate learning difficulties, specific learning difficulties, speech and language difficulties and medical conditions e.g. ADHD.

Having opened as a 40-place school the school has now expanded to a 45-place school and operates 5-year groups, each of which has a maximum of 9 pupils. Each teacher also has a learning support assistant assigned to their class and specialist teaching.

The Proposal

The City Council sought the views of the local community on the plans for Keyham Lodge School.

An Open Evening was held at the school on Tuesday 8th May 2012 between 17.30 and 19.30. This gave an opportunity for all interested people to have a look at the plans and discuss with the development team the proposals for the school.

There was a rolling presentation of the proposals and large copies of the plans, as well as a 3D model. Members of the project team were on hand to answer any questions.

If you require any further information about these plans, contact Jennefer Jones, Bid Co-ordinator, LMEC on 0116 2528027.
