Human Resources

The Human Resources (HR) team provides a Traded Agreement Service to all schools/colleges within Leicester City. The Service packages are detailed below:

 

  • Professional Human Resources advice & support package
  • Administration package

 

These may be purchased separately or as a combined package.

 

Our professional advice and support package will enable schools to meet typical staff management issues such as:

 

  • Staffing re-organisation or reductions
  • Discipline
  • Grievances
  • Absence Management
  • Capability issues
  • Equal pay claims
  • Implementing the statutory pay conditions for teachers
  • Recruitment difficulties

 

In addition the HR team are able to provide a professional consultancy service. This service covers training, service wide reviews, Headteacher appointments and any other support that a school may require which falls outside of our own two standard packages.

 

Our HR team offers:


  • Support from experienced, professionally qualified staff who have worked with schools/colleges for many years

 

  • Up to date knowledge of current employment and education legislation using agreed LEA and City Council polices and practices

 

  • An extensive knowledge of pay and conditions of service will assist schools/colleges in ensuring staff are paid accurately


Our Human Resource Service package will ensure that schools and colleges can confidently implement changes in Employment Law and Conditions of Service. Expert advice and guidance will also be available on staff remuneration and the recruitment and retention of staff.
