Special Needs Teaching and Student Support Service

The Special Needs Teaching Service (SNTS) is part of the Removing Barriers to Achievement Service.  The administrative base is New Parks House on the northern edge of the City.

The Service functions as a broadly based educational support service to assist parents, schools, colleges and other professionals in meeting the complex requirements of vulnerable children and young people with Special Educational Needs.

This is achieved by close partnership and collaborative working with parents, other professionals within Children and Young People's Services, Health, Social Care and Safeguarding and the voluntary sector.
