The training team aims to support Early Years settings in being able to address the government's priorities for workforce development.
The team provides a programme of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities available for Leicester City’s Early Years Workforce. The courses within our programme support childcare providers in meeting the requirements within the Early Years Foundation Stage regulations, inspected by Ofsted.
Training offered aims to develop workers awareness and up to date their skills and knowledge to ensure that the workforce is well trained and offering high quality provision for children, young people and their families.
We have a well resourced training room at Fosse Neighbourhood Centre where many of our CPD opportunities are offered.
