Toy Libraries

The facts

  • Toy Libraries work like book libraries by lending toys to local families
  • They give your child an opportunity to play with a wider range of toys.


What will it cost me?

  • They are usually free, but some may charge a small fee towards to cost of replacing and maintaining toys.

 

Is it for me?

  • Gives your child the opportunity to play with ‘new’ toys
  • Some are linked to groups such as schools or pre-schools.

 

How can I find out about my local toy libraby?

  • Most toy libraries are based in local Children's Centres

  • Contact your local Children's Centre to find out whether they have a toy library.
