What's in Your Library?

General:

• Books: FREE loan - borrow up to 12 books for up to 3 weeks

• DVDs: Weekly hire - from £1.50

• Talking books: Large selection for small hire charge (These are FREE to borrow for visually impaired people) Search A-Z by author

• Large print books: Search A-Z by author

• Newspapers and magazines

• Learning and careers information

• FREE reservations for city residents (small charge for non-city residents)

• Want something we don't have? Perhaps we can order it for you or get it via an interlibrary loan  

Computers, Internet & Email:

• FREE Internet access: Book in advance  

• Office software

• Online resources - including encyclopaedias, reference material and newspapers

• Specialist accessibility computer software

For Children & Under 16s:

• Toddler Time items: DVDs, videos & talking books - free to borrow

• Special collection of books to help with homework

Facilities:

• A4 scanner (may need to be booked)

• Fax machine (small charge)

• Photocopier (small charge)

Events and Activities:

• Introductory computer courses available - must be booked in advance.

• Toddler Time: Every Wednesday 10.00am - 12.00am

• Homework Club: Thursdays in term time 3.30pm - 6.00pm
