Do you belong to a Reading Group? Would you like to set one up or join one?
Whatever type of reader you are, and wherever you want to meet up with other readers, Leicester Libraries can help you in a variety of ways.
A Reading Group is an exciting opportunity to get together with others to try authors and titles you might not have otherwise considered, find out what other readers thought of a book and let them know what you thought.
Leicester Libraries can help by:
-
Advising you on what to read
-
Loaning sets of books to suit all types of groups
-
Arranging for a local author talk
East Midlands Libraries have produced a pack of information for Reading Groups. You can download and print the material from the attachments at the bottom of this page. They give hints and tips on running a group.
You can also download below our list of books that are available in sets of 10.
There may already be a Readers Group locally that you could join, if not why not start your own? To find out more you could ask at your local library. They offer a range of services to support your reading group, from advice in the selection of books, book loans and space to meet.
