RE Today ServicesThis project was set up in 2000/2001 to bring together Year 5 and Year 6 pupils at two very different primary schools in Leicester:
Uplands Junior School, Highfields - an inner city school with a predominantly Muslim population
St Thomas More Catholic Primary School - a suburban church school
The aim of the project was to produce a model of Inter Faith Dialogue by email which can be used by other schools within the city and beyond.
Already other Leicester schools have expressed an interest in joining an RE email network, as well as schools as far apart as Cornwall and Cumbria.
If you are interested in joining our project, or just curious to find out more, this site will give you some idea of its theory and practice as well as some examples of the children's exchanges with their partners.
