Core themes

A baseline assessment is a starting point for the accreditation process. This enables schools to identify their strengths and weaknesses and to write targets and action plans to meet the needs of the school. The audits should be completed for each of the four core themes.

To achieve National Healthy School status the school must try to work as a unit. The audit form attached below helps you see how well you are working and the gaps you may have to work on over the next two years. These are all essential elements for achieving the award and evidence must be presented showing that the criteria have been met.
